Activity feed, ratings, and leaderboards

Once you’re following people, Expo brings the social side of cooking to life.

The activity feed

Your feed shows what the people you follow are up to — recipes they’ve cooked, saved, and shared. It’s a steady stream of inspiration from people whose taste you trust.

Rate and comment

After cooking a recipe, you can rate it and leave a comment. Ratings do two things:

• They help your friends decide what’s worth making.
• They help Expo learn your taste, which improves your recommendations.

You can also comment on recipes to share tips, tweaks, or just say how it turned out.

Leaderboards and challenges

Expo includes leaderboards and challenges to keep cooking fun and a little competitive with your friends. Tap a person on a leaderboard to open their profile and see what they’ve been making.

Controlling your visibility

If you’d rather keep your activity to approved followers, set your profile to private in Settings → Privacy. See Friends, following, and shared cookbooks for details.
