Friends, following, and shared cookbooks
Connect with people you cook with and share recipes and collections.
Expo is better with the people you cook with. You can follow friends and family, share recipes, and build cookbooks together.
Follow friends
Search for people you know and follow them to see what they’re cooking. Following someone adds their activity to your feed.
Private profiles and follow requests
If your profile is private, people have to send a follow request that you approve or decline, so you control who sees your activity. To make your profile private:
- Go to Settings.
- Under Privacy, turn on Private Profile.
When your profile is public, anyone can follow you and see your shared activity.
Share a recipe
You can send a single recipe to someone, or share an entire collection. When a friend receives a shared recipe, they can save it into their own recipes and cook it themselves.
Shared cookbooks
Build shared cookbooks with family or friends so everyone contributes to and cooks from the same set of recipes. It’s a great way to keep family recipes in one place that everyone can reach.
What others can see
People can see the activity and recipes you choose to share. Setting your profile to private limits this to followers you approve.
