Creating an account and signing in

You need a free Expo account to save recipes and sync them across your devices.

Create an account

1. Open Expo and choose to sign up.
2. Enter your email and a password, or use the available sign-in options.
3. Complete the short onboarding, where Expo asks a few questions about the food you like. Your answers help recommendations feel personal right away.

You can start using Expo immediately after signing up.

Sign back in

If you’ve signed out, open the app and sign in with the same email and password you used to create your account.

Use Face ID or Touch ID

To sign back in without typing your password, you can turn on biometric sign-in:

1. Go to Settings.
2. Under Security, turn on Sign in with Face ID (or Touch ID, depending on your device).
3. Enter your password once to confirm. After that, Expo can use your face or fingerprint to sign you in.

This option only appears if your device supports biometrics.

Trouble signing in

If you’ve forgotten your password or can’t get in, use the password reset option on the sign-in screen. If you’re still stuck, email support@heyexpo.com and we’ll help.
